Install the app (iOS & Android)

Workspace Sync has a native app for iPhone and Android. - iPhone: download Workspace Sync from the App Store. - Android: download Workspace Sync from Google Play. After installing, open the app and sign in with your work Google account (see Sign in with your work Google account). You'll need your company to already use Workspace Sync. If sign-in says your organization isn't set up, your admin hasn't connected your Google Workspace yet.

Sign in with your work Google account

Workspace Sync uses Google sign-in — the same work account you use for company email. 1. Open the app and tap Sign in with Google. 2. Choose your work Google account (e.g. you@yourcompany.com). 3. Approve the sign-in. That's it — you'll land on your company directory. Troubleshooting - "Organization not set up" — your admin hasn't connected your Google Workspace yet; check with them. - Used the wrong account? Sign out and sign back in with your work account (personal Gmail won't show your company directory).

Find and contact colleagues

The app is your company directory, always up to date. Find someone - Browse the contact list, - Search by name, role, or department, or - Filter by group — pick a department or a custom group from the dropdown at the top. Save a whole group to your phone Filter to a group, then tap the save button next to the group selector to add everyone in it to your phone's contacts in one go. Changed your mind? Tap Undo on the confirmation message. See their details Tap a person to open their profile — photo, job title, department, phone, and email (whichever fields your company shares). Reach them in one tap From a contact, choose: - Call - Message (SMS) - WhatsApp No more copying numbers between apps or asking around for someone's contact.

Sync, offline use, and visibility

Always up to date The directory updates automatically while you use the app, so you see the latest people and details without doing anything. New colleagues appear and people who've left drop off on their own. Works offline Contacts you save to your phone are available offline like any other contact in your address book. The in-app directory refreshes while you're online. Why you might not see someone - Your admin controls who appears and which fields are shared — if a colleague or a field (e.g. a phone number) is missing, your admin may have disabled it. - A brand-new hire may not have synced yet (it updates within a few hours). Your own details The information shown about you comes from your company's Google Workspace directory. To correct your title, phone, or photo, ask your Google Workspace admin to update it there — it'll sync automatically.
