Always up to date
The directory syncs automatically in the background, so you see the latest people and details without doing anything. New colleagues appear and people who've left drop off on their own.
Works offline
Your directory is cached on your device, so you can look up and contact colleagues even without a connection. It refreshes next time you're online.
Why you might not see someone
- Your admin controls who appears and which fields are shared — if a colleague or a field (e.g. a phone number) is missing, your admin may have disabled it.
- A brand-new hire may not have synced yet (it updates within a few hours).
Your own details
The information shown about you comes from your company's Google Workspace directory. To correct your title, phone, or photo, ask your Google Workspace admin to update it there — it'll sync automatically.
