Failed payments and cancelling

Last updated on Jun 02, 2026

If a payment fails

If Stripe can't charge your card, your subscription enters a retry period:

  • Stripe automatically retries for up to 14 days.
  • Update your card via Manage billing & invoices in Stripe to resolve it before the final retry.
  • If all retries fail, the subscription ends and you may need to start a fresh subscription.

Cancelling

You can cancel any time from the Stripe Customer Portal. After cancelling:

  • Your subscription stays active until the end of the current period (no refund for the remainder).
  • After that, your workspace moves to the Free plan (up to 10 active users).
  • If you had more than 10 active users, the most recently enabled are disabled down to 10, and service for the rest pauses until you re-subscribe.

You can resume before the end date to avoid any interruption.
