Workspace Sync keeps the directory current automatically.
- Automatic sync runs every hour.
- Manual sync: an admin can click Sync Now on the Contacts page any time (for example right after onboarding someone).
What a sync does
- Pulls the latest people and details from your Google Workspace.
- Applies your enabled/disabled choices and field settings.
- Removes anyone who has left your Google Workspace — they disappear from everyone's phones on the next sync.
Good to know
- New hires appear after the next sync (or a manual sync).
- Right after you change Google settings, allow 2–5 minutes for Google to propagate before syncing.
- Employees' apps refresh automatically while in use, so changes reach phones without any manual steps.
